Morocco’s King Accepts, Joins Trump Gaza ‘Peace Board’

King Mohammed VI of Morocco has accepted President Donald Trump’s invitation to join his “Board of Peace” as a founding member.

The Moroccan foreign ministry praised Trump’s vision for global stability and confirmed that the North African nation will soon ratify the board’s official charter.

While originally conceived to oversee the reconstruction of Gaza, the initiative’s mission has expanded significantly. The board now aims to implement a fresh approach to resolving long-standing conflicts across the Middle East and other volatile regions worldwide.

Membership is reserved for heads of state, with standard terms lasting three years.

However, the charter allows for extended participation if a member nation contributes over $1 billion within its first year, funds intended to drive international recovery efforts.

Trump, acting as chairman, has invited several prominent world leaders to join him, including Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orbán. While Morocco and Hungary have embraced the roles, other invited figures have yet to confirm their commitment to the project.

The global reaction remains divided, as the initiative bypasses traditional diplomatic channels.

While Morocco remains an enthusiastic partner, key Western allies like France and Canada have expressed a more hesitant and lukewarm stance toward the new board.
