China Launches World’s First 10G Broadband Network, Delivering Breakthrough Internet Speeds

China has reached a significant technological achievement by introducing the world’s first commercial 10-Gigabit (10G) broadband network. This innovative project, launched in Sunan County, Hebei Province, is a collaboration between telecommunications leader Huawei and state-owned provider China Unicom. This advancement places China at the leading edge of next-generation internet technology, offering exceptional download and upload speeds.
The newly deployed 10G broadband network features remarkable download speeds of up to 9,834 Mbps and upload speeds of 1,008 Mbps, with a remarkably low latency of just 3 milliseconds. These speeds are ten times greater than current standard gigabit broadband services.
