Kenny Okolugbo Resigns as Akpabio’s Communications Consultant

Kenny Okolugbo has resigned his appointment as Consultant on Communications and Strategy to the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio

The resignation was conveyed in a letter dated December 22, 2025, and addressed to the Senate President through his Chief of Staff, Chinedu Akubueze. In the letter, Okolugbo cited “business and family commitments” as the reasons for his decision to step down I have enjoyed working with the team. I should also point out the privilege of being an adviser to the number three citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Okolugbo stated in the letter, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve in the role Sources within the National Assembly confirmed that the Senate President has accepted Okolugbo’s resignation and wished him well in his future endeavours.
