Fresh Accusations Emerge Over Alleged Cover-Up in Release of Epstein Files
Fresh controversy has erupted in the United States following the partial release of long-awaited government files related to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, with critics accusing authorities of orchestrating a new cover-up by withholding or removing key materials from public view.
The dispute followed the Justice Department’s release of thousands of pages of documents and photographs connected to Epstein’s criminal investigations, in line with a recently passed transparency law mandating their disclosure.
