Ciara Extols Lagos, Says City Now Cleaner, Beautifully Transformed
American singer and dancer, Ciara Princess Wilson has commended the impressive transformation of Lagos, describing the city as more organized and cleaner than she remembered from her previous visits.
Speaking during her recent trip to Nigeria’s commercial capital, the Grammy-winning artist expressed joy at the visible improvements across the city.
“I’m so happy to be here and I’m really glad,” she said enthusiastically.
When asked whether it was her first time in Lagos, Ciara responded that she had been to the city before and was familiar with its vibrancy. “No, this is not my first time. I know about Lagos,” she noted.
Reflecting on her earlier experiences, the singer recalled how the city looked years ago compared to now.
“When I used to land, I used to see dirty roads. Now it’s all clean and it has changed,” Ciara observed, praising the efforts that have contributed to the city’s renewed appearance.
Ciara, who has toured various African countries over the years, joins a growing list of international celebrities acknowledging the rapid development and modernization taking place in Lagos.
