Happy Birthday to the King of Generosity, Seyi Tinubu
Birthday shout-out to Seyi Tinubu on behalf of Comrade Bamidele Atoyebi; I fondly called him Oju Eko when you were in Lagos, but now that you are in Abuja, I call you Oju Agbaiye.
He has truly lived up to that name, extending his impact far beyond Lagos and touching lives across the country.
The principle of generosity runs deeply in the Tinubu family. Just like his father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is celebrated for his compassion, generosity, and for raising people rather than merely giving gifts, Seyi Tinubu has embraced that same value in every sense.
He gives not only money, but value, opportunities, and hope. From empowering others to creating platforms for success, he has shown that true greatness is found in service.
Many Nigerian youths admire him deeply and describe him as the most influential young man or rather, son of a President in recent times. Yet, his influence did not come by luck or inheritance. It is the result of dedication, hard work, humility, and consistency.
Seyi Tinubu worked his way to recognition through years of effort, generosity, and an unshakable commitment to building others. He is humble, easy, and approachable by everyone a young man who embodies both the spirit of humility and the principle of humanity.
He is not just a giver of money but a giver of value a leader who uses his position to lift people and open doors of opportunity.
Through his network and influence, he has recommended and supported numerous individuals for meaningful appointments, including five local government chairmen, over twenty councillors, and others who now serve as ministers and managing directors, Niger Delta Power Holdings, SME amongst others.
Seyi Tinubu stands out as one of the few young leaders who ensures that his friends, associates, and supporters are empowered and settled, while many others only think of themselves and their families.
His commitment to raising men and giving back to society mirrors the same spirit that defines his father’s legacy.
Alongside his wife, Layal Tinubu, Seyi co-founded the Noella Foundation, a platform devoted to creating positive social change.
Through the foundation, they promote maternal health, address teenage pregnancies, and support sickle-cell awareness. They also invest in economic development by providing employability workshops, scholarships, and skill-building hubs. In addition, their hunger eradication programmes partner with organisations, communities, and schools to provide nutritious meals for children and vulnerable individuals.
Seyi Tinubu continues to inspire a new generation of Nigerians through humility, compassion, and purpose-driven generosity. His life reminds us that true leadership is not about titles, but about touching lives and building people.
