Hon. Jimoh Reiterates Commitment To Education Excellence As LG Holds Spelling Competition

In a vowed determination and love for education excellence, the executive chairman of Apapa Iganmu LCDA Hon. Jimoh Olawale Saliu joined stakeholders to cheer and applaud pupils and students of the council area at the Spelling Bee Competition, held at the LCDA Secretariat.

The competition, which is the 21st edition,organized by the LCDA in conjunction with the Office of Education Quality Assurance is the final stage to select those who will represent the LCDA at the State Level.

The spellers drawn from 22 schools made up of 16 primary and six secondary schools, showcased their talent to the admiration of the audience, drawing applause from all.

At the end of the keenly contested competition, students of Araromi Secondary School, Orile emerged as the 1st and 2nd while Sari Iganmu Secondary Iganmu took the 3rd position respectively.
