Alex Ekwueme Federal University Receives N83 Million for Students Loan

The Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, has received its fifth batch of student loan disbursement, amounting to N83,032,300.00 for 427 students.
This was confirmed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunday O. Elom, in a letter dated September 17, 2025.
The disbursement was made by the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), with the payment being received on September 11, 2025. This development is expected to alleviate the financial burden on students and enable them to focus on their academic pursuits.
The university has acknowledged receipt of the payment and expressed appreciation for the support.
The disbursement is part of the government’s efforts to promote education and human capital development in the country.
The Nigeria Education Loan Fund is a government initiative aimed at providing financial assistance to students in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
