Miss Anambra Wins Miss International Nigeria 2025

Faith Ekwebenam, representing Anambra State, has been crowned Miss International Nigeria 2025 after a dazzling grand finale held on Sunday.
Ekwebenam triumphed over a field of contestants from across the country to clinch the national crown, earning the right to represent Nigeria at the 63rd Miss International pageant, scheduled for 27 November 2025 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
The keenly contested event produced a lineup of standout finalists, with Miss Lagos named first runner-up, while Miss Bauchi, Miss Edo, Miss Cross River, and Miss Nasarawa emerged as second to fifth runners-up respectively.
Her victory underscores Nigeria’s steady presence on the Miss International stage, continuing a tradition carried forward most recently by Perpetual Ukadike, who represented the nation at the 2024 edition of the global contest.
Speaking shortly after her coronation, Ekwebenam expressed gratitude for the support she received throughout the competition, pledging to use her new platform to promote cultural exchange, women’s empowerment, and community advocacy.
The Miss International pageant, recognized as one of the world’s prestigious “Big Four” beauty contests alongside Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Earth, places emphasis not only on beauty and elegance but also on diplomacy, cultural understanding, and social responsibility.
With her new crown, Faith Ekwebenam will now embark on preparations to showcase Nigeria’s culture, values, and advocacy projects on the international stage in Tokyo later this year.
