Cross River Chief of Staff Congratulates Governor Otu on APC Campaign Council Appointment

The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, Dr. Emmanuel Ironbar, has congratulated Governor Bassey Otu on his appointment as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Campaign Council for the 2025 Anambra State governorship election.

In a statement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Patrick Asuquo, Dr. Ironbar described the appointment as a “well-deserved recognition” of Governor Otu’s political leadership and consistency in delivering results for the ruling party.

He recalled the governor’s pivotal role in steering the APC to electoral victories in Imo and Edo States, where he also served as chairman of the campaign councils. According to him, Governor Otu’s faithful implementation of the People’s First Manifesto in Cross River State further underscores his capacity for effective leadership.

“With this new assignment, there is no doubt that Governor Otu will once again deploy his wealth of experience and strategic leadership to deliver victory for our great party in Anambra State,” the statement read.

The Chief of Staff, speaking on behalf of the Government and people of Cross River State, extended his best wishes to the governor, praying for continued success as he takes on this national responsibility.
