Myanmar Hit by 7.7 Magnitude Earthquake

A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck has struck Myamar, leaving in its wake, widespread destruction and chaos in the region. At the maternity center of Jingcheng Hospital in Ruili, a city near the Myanmar border, nurses sprang into action as the violent shaking began. CCTV footage captured the dramatic scene, showing two nurses taking immediate action to protect the newborn babies in their care.

One nurse knelt down to shield an infant in her arms, while the other worked to steady cribs holding other newborns, ensuring their safety as the building swayed and objects fell around them.

Despite the intense tremors, the nurses remained focused on their duty, prioritizing the safety of the infants above all else. Their bravery and selflessness have been widely praised online, with many hailing them as “heroes” for their actions.

The successful evacuation of all staff, nurses, and newborns from the maternity ward, without any reported injuries, is a testament to the nurses’ exceptional training and dedication.
