BAT IDEOLOGY Group Commiserates with APC Chairman, Yilwatda over Mother’s Passing

The BAT IDEOLOGY Group has extended its heartfelt condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, following the death of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.

Mama Lydia, aged 83, passed away on Sunday, August 17, at the Jos University Teaching Hospital.

She was widely celebrated as a devout Christian and a woman of uncommon humility, who alongside her late husband, Reverend Toma Yilwatda, devoted her life to the service of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) and the upliftment of communities across Plateau, Bauchi, Borno and Yobe states.

In its condolence message, the BAT IDEOLOGY Group described the late matriarch as a virtuous woman whose impact transcended her immediate family.

“We commiserate with our dear National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, in this time of grief. Mama Lydia lived a life of faith, service, and sacrifice that will continue to inspire generations.

We pray that the Almighty comforts the Yilwatda family and grants them the strength to bear this painful loss,” the group said.

The group further assured Professor Yilwatda of its solidarity and prayers, noting that Mama Lydia’s legacy of faith and service would endure through the lives of her children and all those who benefited from her counsel and compassion.

The BAT IDEOLOGY Group concluded by praying for the peaceful repose of her soul.
