DJ Dope Caesar Debunks Death Rumour, Says She’s Alive and Well

 

Popular Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Dope Caesar, has refuted viral claims circulating on social media that she has died.

The entertainer took to Instagram Live on Monday, August 11, 2025, to assure fans and the public that she is alive, healthy, and going about her work.

In a direct address to her followers, she dismissed the false reports, saying: “Guys, nothing happened to me. I’m not dead. I’m okay—very, very okay. Instablog, please don’t post anything about me. I didn’t die, I’m not in an accident, nothing happened to me.” She further stressed that there was no truth to the speculation and urged people to verify information before spreading it.

The disc jockey, known for her energetic stage presence and growing influence in Nigeria’s music scene, also expressed gratitude to friends, fans, and colleagues who reached out to confirm her wellbeing. She added that she was neither ill nor involved in any incident, describing the rumours as “nonsense” from unreliable platforms.

The origin of the death rumour remains unclear, but it quickly gained traction on blogs and social media pages before her public clarification. DJ Dope Caesar’s swift response has since reassured her followers and shut down the misinformation.
