President Tinubu Congratulates Adeniyi Oyemade on 70th Birthday

President Bola Tinubu has extended his warm congratulations to Adeniyi Oyemade, a former Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce and two-time member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, on his 70th birthday. The President praised Oyemade’s remarkable contributions to governance, describing him as an accomplished businessman and public servant.

During his tenure in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Oyemade represented Ikeja Constituency 1 and chaired key committees, including Budget and Appropriations and Education. He also played significant roles in the Finance, Public Accounts, Sports and Social Development, and Mineral Resources committees. His leadership and results-driven approach led to critical reforms in budget planning, education, fiscal policy, and public service delivery.

President Tinubu commended Oyemade’s commitment to grassroots mobilization, community development, and national development. “Your versatile leadership and results-driven approach to governance shaped critical reforms… I commend your principled commitment to grassroots mobilisation, community development, and overarching desire for national development,” the President stated.
