Victory, Kayikunmi Safe as 27 Housemates Up For Eviction in BBNaija Season 10

Big Brother Naija Season 10 has taken a dramatic turn just two weeks into the show, as 27 housemates now face possible eviction following a surprise nomination twist.

Only Victory, the Head of House, and Kayikunmi, whom he saved, are immune from this week’s eviction.

The development came after a mysterious challenge was introduced by Big Brother during the Sunday live show.

The unexpected nomination task shocked both viewers and housemates, many of whom were visibly shaken by the outcome.

The nomination task required housemates — except for Head of House Victory — to search the house for red envelopes hidden in various locations. Each housemate was allowed to find and keep just one envelope. The twist? Every envelope contained the same message:
“Better luck next time.”

The task, seemingly harmless at first, turned out to be a cleverly disguised nomination round. As housemates opened their envelopes and read the message aloud, Big Brother revealed that all those who participated in the envelope hunt had automatically been placed on the chopping block.

Victory, who was exempt from the task, was then directed to the Tree of Trinkets, a new feature introduced this season. From the tree, he picked a card that gave him the power to save one housemate from possible eviction. He chose Kayikunmi, sparing her from the consequences of the red envelope task.

Following the twist, the full list of housemates now up for possible eviction includes:

Zita, Gigi, Ivatar, Big Soso, Sabrina, Mide, Dede, Doris, Joanna, Isabella, Imisi, Ibifubara, Tracy, Thelma, Sultana, Mensan, Kuture, Kola, Jason, Denari, Kaybobo, Faith, Rooboy, Bright, Koyin, Danboskid, and Otega.

With just two contestants — Victory and Kayikunmi — declared safe, the stakes have never been higher in the early stages of the competition.

The show’s organizers announced that viewers have until Thursday at 10:00 p.m. (WAT) to vote for their favorite housemates. Those with the fewest votes risk being evicted during the Sunday live eviction show, which will be broadcast on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 29.

Big Brother also warned all housemates to refrain from canvassing for votes or discussing the eviction process, adding that any violation would attract severe punishment.

This mass nomination marks one of the biggest early eviction risks in BBNaija history and signals that Season 10 is determined to keep both housemates and fans on edge.

For now, all eyes are on the public as fans rally behind their favorites to keep them in the house. With tension rising, alliances may be tested, and strategies reshaped, as the housemates face the brutal reality of an early exit.
