University Probes Lecturer’s Death, Warns Against Speculation

The management of Prince Abubakar Audu University, Ayingba, has confirmed the death of one of its lecturers, Mr. Olabode Ibikunle, who reportedly passed away while in the company of a colleague, Miss Glory Ojochegbe.

 

While expressing deep sorrow over the incident, the university’s management has urged the public and the media to refrain from speculation and jumping to conclusions about the circumstances surrounding Ibikunle’s death.

 

In a statement signed by the Registrar, Yahaya Alilu, the university assured that an investigation is underway to establish the facts surrounding the lecturer’s demise. The management also dissociated another student, Miss Bello Lubabat, from the incident, cautioning against the spread of unverified information that could harm innocent individuals.

 

The university has pledged to uphold the values of truth, fairness, and justice, appealing for restraint and responsible reporting as the investigation continues.
