President Tinubu to Visit Kano on Condolence Mission Over Death of Elder Statesman Aminu Dantata

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to visit Kano State in a condolence visit to the government, people of the state, and the family of the late elder statesman and business magnate, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
This was disclosed in an official statement released on Thursday by Sunusi Bature, spokesperson to Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
According to the statement, the visit by President Tinubu underscores a gesture of national unity and deep respect for the legacy of the late Dantata, whose contributions to Nigeria’s economic and philanthropic sectors remain enduring.
“The President’s visit is a reflection of his commitment to national solidarity and a recognition of the invaluable impact Alhaji Aminu Dantata made not only in Kano but across the country,” Bature noted.
Governor Abba Yusuf has urged residents of the state to receive President Tinubu warmly and respectfully, emphasizing Kano’s longstanding culture of hospitality and reverence for leadership.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who passed away recently, was widely celebrated as a pioneering industrialist, philanthropist, and statesman. His legacy includes decades of investment in commerce, education, health, and humanitarian causes, touching countless lives throughout Nigeria.
The Kano State Government has assured that comprehensive security and logistical arrangements are already in place to ensure a smooth and dignified presidential visit.
