Junju/Fada Community Backs Gov Idris, Rejects Malami
Residents of Junju/Fada community in Birnin Kebbi, the hometown of former Attorney General of the Federation and African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain, Abubakar Malami, have publicly declared their unwavering support for Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris.
The declaration was made during a solidarity visit to the governor at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi. Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the Commissioner for Works, Abdullahi Muslim, emphasized that the people of the community including youths, women, and elders were united in their support for the current administration.
He stated that the community had chosen to align themselves fully with the leadership and developmental agenda of Governor Idris, distancing themselves from Malami’s political influence.
Muslim reaffirmed the residents’ commitment to the progress of Kebbi State under the governor’s stewardship and expressed their readiness to work closely with the administration to ensure continued peace and prosperity in the region.
In his response, Governor Idris appreciated the gesture and assured the delegation that his government would remain inclusive and people-focused, promising to carry all communities along in developmental plans.
