Voting Underway at Sanwo-Olu’s Polling Unit in Lagos Island
Electoral activities are in progress at Polling Unit 007, located within St. Stephens Nursery and Primary School in the Adeniji Adele area of Lagos Island, where Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is expected to participate in the ongoing civic exercise.
According to reports the selection process for local council chairpersons and ward representatives officially started at the unit by 8:00 a.m.
Representatives of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission were present at the designated time to facilitate the procedure.
Governor Sanwo-Olu’s spokesperson, Jubril Gawat, has already fulfilled his civic duty at the same location.
The grassroots election is taking place across all 20 main local government areas and 37 development councils within the state.
