Wike Slams Amaechi, Calls for Release of Forensic Audit Report

Minister Nyesom Wike has rubbished claims that Rotimi Amaechi’s wife is an industrialist, describing her as a businesswoman.
He also questioned the wealth of his colleague, Rotimi Amaechi, and called for the release of a forensic audit report on a N48 billion contract awarded to Amaechi’s wife’s company.
According to Wike, Amaechi’s wife is not an industrialist, and he challenged the President to release the forensic audit report on the contract.
The contract, worth N4 billion monthly, was meant to train Niger Delta women.
Wike’s demand for the release of the report has sparked controversy, with many calling for transparency and accountability in government dealings.
He emphasized that he would resign from his position as Minister of Health if the allegations he made are not contained in the report.
The Minister’s comments have ignited a heated debate about the role of politicians’ wives in business and the need for transparency in government contracts.
Wike’s assertion that Amaechi’s wife is not an industrialist has raised questions about the accuracy of claims made about her business activities.
