Otti Dismisses Speculations on Defection to APC, Restates Loyalty to Labour Party

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has reaffirmed his commitment to the Labour Party, dismissing speculation about his involvement in any coalition or defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He emphasized his loyalty to the party, which brought him to power, and assured Abians that he has no intentions of abandoning the mandate given to him.
Governor Otti’s commitment to the Labour Party has been unwavering, with his special adviser on media and publicity stating that Otti remains solidly with the party.
Any major political decision affecting Abia State would not be made behind closed doors or in secrecy, prioritizing the interests of Abians.
Otti’s leadership has brought significant progress to Abia State, including infrastructure revitalization, economic rejuvenation, healthcare reforms, and educational enhancements.
His administration has also prioritized zero tolerance for corruption and poor performance. Despite leadership challenges, Otti remains confident that outstanding issues would be resolved soon, citing the clarity of the Supreme Court’s judgment.
The governor’s commitment to the Labour Party has also been supported by other party members, including Abia Rep Amobi Ogah, who dismissed his suspension by the Abure-led Labour Party faction, reaffirming his confidence in Otti’s leadership.
