Trump Brokers, Announces Israel-Iran Ceasefire on Instagram

President Donald Trump has heralded a significant breakthrough in the Israel-Iran conflict, asserting that both nations have consented to a “complete and total ceasefire” following nearly a fortnight of intensifying hostilities.

In a message shared on his official Instagram account, Trump proclaimed that the ceasefire agreement would come into effect approximately six hours subsequent to the announcement, after both countries conclude their ongoing military maneuvers.

According to Trump, the ceasefire will be executed in two stages: Iran will initiate the truce for the initial 12 hours, during which Israel will maintain non-aggression.

Israel will then commence its own ceasefire for the succeeding 12 hours. At the conclusion of this 24-hour interval, Trump asserts, the conflict will be deemed officially concluded.

“This is a war that could have persisted for years and devastated the entire Middle East, but it didn’t—and never will!” Trump declared, announcing the cessation of what he termed “THE 12 DAY WAR.”

He proceeded to commend both nations for their “stamina, courage, and intelligence” in reaching a resolution and extended blessings to the inhabitants of Israel, Iran, the Middle East, the United States, and the world.

Official confirmation of the agreement from Israeli or Iranian government sources is yet to be received.

Nevertheless, Trump’s pronouncement has already garnered widespread attention and could herald a significant diplomatic development in the region.
