Tinubu Condemns Borno Bombing, Disclaims it as Cowardly

President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the recent suicide bombing that occurred in Konduga, Borno State, describing the attack as a cowardly act.

The President’s condemnation was contained in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, on Sunday in Abuja.

The President mourned the loss of lives in the attack, expressing his deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and the people of Borno State. He urged the security agencies to intensify their efforts in routing out the remnants of the Boko Haram insurgents, who have resorted to attacking soft targets as a diversionary tactic.

The attack, which occurred in Konduga, is the latest in a series of bombings that have rocked the region in recent times.

The President’s condemnation of the attack is a clear indication of his administration’s commitment to tackling the menace of terrorism and ensuring the safety and security of all Nigerians.

In addition to condemning the attack, President Tinubu also directed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to provide support to the survivors of the bombing.

This move is aimed at alleviating the suffering of those affected by the attack and providing them with the necessary assistance to rebuild their lives.

The President’s directive to NEMA is a welcome development, as it will go a long way in providing relief to the victims of the attack.

The agency will work closely with the Borno State government and other stakeholders to provide emergency assistance, including medical care, food, and shelter, to those affected by the bombing.

Furthermore, President Tinubu’s call on security agencies to double their efforts in routing out the remnants of Boko Haram is a clear indication of his administration’s commitment to ending the insurgency in the North-East.

The President has vowed to do everything in his power to ensure that the perpetrators of the attack are brought to justice and that the region is rid of the menace of terrorism.

In a related development, President Tinubu also sympathized with the victims of a recent explosion in Kano State. The President’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, said that the President was deeply saddened by the incident and had directed the relevant agencies to provide support to the victims.

The President’s condemnation of the Borno bombing and his sympathy for the victims of the Kano explosion are a clear indication of his administration’s commitment to the safety and security of all Nigerians.

The President has vowed to do everything in his power to ensure that the country is rid of the menace of terrorism and that all Nigerians can live in peace and security.
