VP Shettima Welcomes Umo Eno, Supporters to APC

Vice President Kashim Shettima has welcomed Governor Umo Eno and his supporters to the All Progressives Congress (APC), assuring them that they will find a home in the ruling party.
Speaking at a grand reception in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital, Shettima represented President Bola Tinubu and praised the President’s commitment to democracy and bridge-building.
Shettima emphasized that the APC is a family driven by principles and loyalty, and assured Governor Eno and his supporters that they will not be marginalized. He noted that President Tinubu is a bridge-builder and a staunch democrat who has contributed significantly to Nigeria’s democracy.
Governor Eno stated that his decision to join the APC aligns with his commitment to support President Tinubu’s economic and infrastructure reforms. He highlighted the potential benefits of the move, including enhanced development goals and attention to major projects like the Deep Sea Port.
The event was attended by prominent APC members, including National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State. They welcomed Governor Eno and his supporters, describing the occasion as a significant moment for the region.
