Those Criticising Tinubu’s Govt Did Nothing While In Power, Says Uba Sani
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has criticized those attacking the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accusing them of failing to deliver meaningful progress during their time in power.
Speaking in Kaduna on Thursday, Sani said many of the individuals now vocal against the current government had opportunities to turn the country around but ended up leaving Nigerians disappointed.
According to him, it is hypocritical for former leaders and political actors who, in his words, “wasted their chances,” to now question the efforts being made by the Tinubu-led administration to fix Nigeria’s economic and security challenges.
“These people had the chance to effect change, but instead they left behind decay. Now they sit in comfort and criticize efforts aimed at cleaning up their mess,” Governor Sani stated.
He noted that President Tinubu inherited a nation facing several economic difficulties and had taken bold steps, including the removal of fuel subsidy and reforms in the foreign exchange sector, to stabilize the country.
Governor Sani called for patience and support from citizens, saying recovery will not happen overnight but that the current administration has shown commitment to rebuilding the economy and restoring hope.
He also appealed to critics to offer constructive advice rather than dwell in negativity, urging Nigerians to remain united behind the President’s vision for a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.
