China Accuses Trump of Exercabeting Iran-Israel Conflict

China has strongly criticized United States President, Donald Trump over his recent remarks concerning the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, accusing him of worsening tensions through inflammatory rhetoric.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that Trump’s comments were not helping to de-escalate the crisis but instead risked further igniting hostilities in the Middle East.

Speaking through its spokesperson Guo Jiakun, the Chinese government condemned Trump’s statements as dangerous and counterproductive.

Guo said, “Fanning the flames, pouring oil, making threats and mounting pressure will only aggravate the crisis.”

He added that China urges all parties involved to exercise restraint, avoid provocation, and return to diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the conflict.

The condemnation comes after Trump posted a warning on his social media platform urging residents of Tehran to evacuate immediately.

In his message, Trump praised Israel’s ongoing military actions as “excellent strikes” and threatened that Iran would face unprecedented consequences if it did not return to nuclear negotiations.

He reiterated his opposition to Iran’s nuclear ambitions and called for a total abandonment of its enrichment programs.

The conflict between Iran and Israel has escalated dramatically over the past week, with Iran launching missiles and drones at Israeli targets, and Israel responding with targeted strikes on Iranian military installations and personnel.

Reports indicate that hundreds of people have been killed or injured on both sides, sparking fears of a wider regional conflict.

In response to the deteriorating situation, the Chinese embassy in Israel has advised its citizens to leave the country using land routes, including through Jordan.

The embassy cited the worsening security situation and called on Chinese nationals to avoid areas of conflict.

China has maintained a consistent call for diplomatic solutions and has positioned itself as a potential mediator in Middle East affairs.

The country has emphasized the need for dialogue, multilateral engagement, and adherence to international law as the best path toward peace.

Analysts say China’s reaction to Trump’s comments reflects both its desire to curb further instability in the region and its broader opposition to what it sees as unilateral and provocative foreign policy stances by the United States. Beijing’s criticism adds to the growing international concern about the potential for the Iran-Israel conflict to spiral into a much larger confrontation if not urgently addressed.
