Tinubu, Sani Get Boost for 2027 Re-Election Bid
President Bola Tinubu, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas have received a major boost for their 2027 re-election bids following an endorsement by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna North Senatorial District.
The endorsement was made during a stakeholders’ meeting held in Zaria, Kaduna State, where party leaders and supporters gathered to evaluate the performance of the APC-led government and strategize ahead of the next general elections.
In a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of Kaduna State, Dr. Abdulkadir Muazu Meyere, the meeting was attended by a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including former governors, serving and former ministers, members of the National and State Assemblies, ambassadors, commissioners, and heads of various government agencies.
Speakers at the event took turns to praise the achievements of President Tinubu at the national level, Governor Sani’s reforms in Kaduna State, and Speaker Abbas’s leadership in the National Assembly. Participants called for unity within the party and urged members to consolidate the gains of the current administration to ensure a stronger showing in the 2027 elections.
The endorsement is being viewed as a significant show of confidence in the leadership of the three politicians, particularly in a state regarded as a traditional APC stronghold.
The meeting also served as a forum for party leaders to deliberate on future strategies and deepen internal cohesion as the 2027 elections draw closer. With this endorsement, Tinubu, Sani, and Abbas are expected to strengthen their campaign networks and build on grassroots support within and beyond Kaduna State.
