2027: PDP Risks Defeat If Internal Crises Persists, Analyst Warns

A policy analyst, Ikechukwu, has warned that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) could face a crushing defeat in the 2027 general elections if it fails to resolve its internal conflicts.

Speaking to Channels Television, Ikechukwu said, “PDP will be beaten, carried on a stretcher if internal crises remain.”

He stressed that the party’s ongoing power tussles and factional disagreements are weakening its public image and electoral prospects.

The warning comes amid increasing political alignment and strategy meetings among Nigeria’s key political figures, with analysts suggesting that unity and clear leadership will be critical for any party hoping to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.

The PDP has yet to issue an official response to the latest concerns.
