Coalition Against Tinubu in 2027 Will Fail, Asserts Uzor Kalu

Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Uzor Kalu, has dismissed the viability of a proposed coalition aimed at challenging APC’s frontrunner, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Kalu claims such an alliance “will go nowhere,” citing divisions among opposition parties and the APC’s entrenched strength.

Kalu, made his remarks during a recent media appearance, underscoring his confidence in Tinubu’s dominance.

Kalu, argued that opposition groups lack the cohesion and organizational capacity to unite against Tinubu.

“The idea of a coalition against Tinubu is built on wishful thinking,” Kalu stated, emphasizing the APC’s nationwide grassroots network and its ability to “weather any political storm.” He further highlighted internal rifts within opposition parties like the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP), suggesting they are ill-equipped to forge a formidable alliance.
