FG Plans Construction Of Datsin Hausa Dam to Check Flooding
The Federal Government has announced plans to construct the Datsin Hausa Dam in a bid to mitigate the perennial flooding that has been affecting several communities in the country.
The Minister of Water Resources, Engr. Joseph Terlumun Utsev disclosed this while addressing journalists in Abuja on Wednesday.
According to him, the construction of the dam is part of the government’s efforts to address the issue of flooding, which has become a recurring decimal in many parts of the country.
“The Datsin Hausa Dam is a critical project that will help to mitigate the impact of flooding in several communities.
