A Nigerian man has taken the internet by storm with his unrelenting pursuit of love. The man, has been making headlines on social media platform TikTok after a video surfaced showing him attending secondary school classes in a bid to meet his girlfriend’s family’s educational standards.

The lady’s father, a staunch adherent to traditional Igbo values, had made it clear that his daughter’s partner would need to possess a West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) certificate before marriage could be considered.

Undeterred by this challenge, the boyfriend took it upon himself to don a secondary school uniform and enroll in classes to sit for the examination.

The video, shared by the lady herself (@stargirlchi1) on TikTok, has garnered significant attention, with many praising the boyfriend’s commitment to his goals and his partner.

In the video, the boyfriend can be seen attending classes alongside other students, his determination and zeal evident on his face.

The lady revealed that she had informed her partner of her father’s expectations, and he had taken immediate action.

“I was taken aback by his decision, but I’m proud of him for being willing to go the extra mile to make our relationship work,” she said.

The lady’s father, who is reportedly a respected member of his community, had set a high bar for his daughter’s future husband.
