Nigerian Air Force Opens Recruitment for Tradesmen and Non-Tradesmen
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has announced the commencement of recruitment for tradesmen and non-tradesmen, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for enlistment into its ranks.
The recruitment exercise is aimed at strengthening the manpower capacity of the Air Force and providing opportunities for young Nigerians interested in serving the country through a military career.
According to the NAF, applications are open to eligible candidates who meet the required educational, medical and physical standards.
Non-tradesmen applicants are generally expected to possess the required secondary school qualifications, while tradesmen applicants must have relevant technical, vocational or professional certifications in addition to meeting other entry requirements.
The Air Force stated that applicants must be Nigerian citizens and fall within the stipulated age brackets for their respective categories.
Candidates are also required to be medically fit and free from any criminal conviction.
Successful applicants will undergo military training and, upon completion, will be enlisted as Airmen and Airwomen of the Nigerian Air Force.
The service advised interested candidates to carefully follow application guidelines and submit accurate information during the registration process.
Authorities also warned applicants against dealing with individuals or groups claiming to offer recruitment assistance for a fee, stressing that the enlistment process is conducted transparently through official channels.
The recruitment exercise is expected to attract thousands of applicants from across the country seeking careers in military service.
NAF encouraged qualified Nigerians to take advantage of the opportunity and contribute to national security and development through service in the Air Force.
