The funeral service for Anthony Adeosun, husband of former Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun, will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Lagos.

The family released the burial arrangements in a statement signed by Wale Adeosun.

A night of tributes is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, at 5pm at Harbour Point Event Centre on Wilmot Point Road, Victoria Island. The funeral service will follow at 10am on Thursday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, Trinity Towers, also on Victoria Island.

Anthony, popularly known as Niyi, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the age of 62. The family described him as a dearly beloved son, brother, husband, and father.

In the announcement of his passing, he was remembered as a reputable businessman and devoted Christian who made a positive impact on those around him.

The family expressed profound sorrow while submitting to the will of God.
Anthony Adeosun is survived by his wife Kemi, their children, and siblings. The family has requested privacy as they grieve the loss.
