APC Support Groups Launch Grassroots Campaign, Target 27 Million Votes for Tinubu
The All Support Groups Network, in partnership with The Progressive Institute, has commenced a nationwide grassroots mobilisation campaign aimed at building support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and securing an estimated 27 million votes through extensive community engagement.
The campaign, unveiled during a press conference in Abuja, is designed to reach voters in rural communities, markets, farms and urban neighbourhoods while encouraging continued support for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Speaking at the event, ASGN National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer, Mukhtar Bala, said the mobilisation drive coincided with the pre-launch of a book documenting the achievements of the Tinubu administration over the past three years.
According to Bala, the initiative will be implemented in collaboration with several national associations representing key sectors of the economy to deepen grassroots participation and expand the campaign’s reach.
He identified the partner organisations as the All Farmers Association of Nigeria, the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria, the Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria, the Sugarcane Farmers and Producers Association of Nigeria, the Gold Miners, Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria, and the Cooperative Federation of Nigeria.
Bala said the organisations were selected because of their extensive presence in communities across the country and their roles in agriculture, transportation and other productive sectors, which he described as critical to grassroots mobilisation.
He expressed confidence that the collaboration would enable the campaign to reach communities nationwide and achieve its target of securing 27 million votes in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Bala also said the forthcoming publication would document what he described as the administration’s achievements in areas including infrastructure, economic reforms and social intervention programmes, adding that the book would serve as both a historical record and a public enlightenment resource.
