Collect PVCs Before Deadline, Lagos APC Women Leader Urges Residents
The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leader, Hon. Iyabosola Rofiat Abimbola Eletu, has urged women and eligible voters across the state to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) before the collection exercise closes, describing the card as a vital tool for democratic participation.
Speaking in a message addressed to women in the state, Eletu called on mothers, daughters, sisters and friends to take advantage of what she described as the last opportunity to obtain their PVCs before the deadline.
She stressed that the PVC represents more than an identification card, saying it is “our power” and “our strength,” as it enables citizens to participate in choosing their leaders through the ballot.
“This is your last opportunity to collect yours today before it ends. Your PVC is more than a card; it is your power. It is your strength. Get your PVC today,” she admonished.
The APC women leader also advised those who had already collected their PVCs to ensure the cards remain valid and are kept safely ahead of future elections.
She further encouraged women to mobilise their family members, friends and young people to obtain their PVCs, noting that every eligible Nigerian has a civic responsibility to participate in the electoral process.
According to her, increased voter registration and PVC collection would help ensure that every eligible citizen has the opportunity to make their voice count during elections.
Eletu concluded by calling on residents to work together towards building a future where every vote matters, urging all eligible voters to collect their PVCs without delay.
Members of the Lagos State APC Women also echoed the appeal, encouraging residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards before the collection exercise ends.
