Precision Strike Obligerates Key ISWAP Logistics Hub, Enclave in Borno

Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) yesterday suffered a massive blow when the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI obliterated a vital terrorist enclave and logistics hub in Borno State during a precision afternoon strike.

The military strike which took place at approximately 2:40 p.m. on Friday, July 10, targeted a notorious insurgent stronghold in Yaganari, located within the Gezuwa general area.

According to intelligence sources that spoke to security analyst, Zagazola Makama, the operation was launched following credible reports that fighters were massing at the location to consolidate logistics for upcoming attacks.

Before the fighter jets were scrambled, the military deployed persistent Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms to verify the threat. Surveillance teams positively identified multiple terrorist structures, stockpile hubs, and active insurgent movements on the ground.

Once hostile activity was confirmed, the aircraft locked onto the coordinates and executed a series of high-accuracy precision passes, delivering onboard munitions directly onto the targets.

The coordinated bombardment completely leveled the logistics facilities, destroyed the hideout structures, and neutralized several terrorists operating within the perimeter.

Military officials have hailed the mission as a significant setback for the insurgent network in the North-East. By cutting off this crucial supply artery, the military has severely degraded ISWAP’s capacity to coordinate movements and sustain prolonged combat operations.

Battle damage assessments are currently underway to determine the exact number of casualties and the full scale of the destruction. Meanwhile, the military has intensified air surveillance over the Gezuwa axis to exploit the operational success and prevent any surviving remnants from regrouping.
