Soldiers have killed two members of the Lakurawa terrorist group in Kebbi State during an operation.

The troops engaged the terrorists in a gun battle and successfully neutralised them. Security forces also recovered several arms and ammunition from the scene.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts to rid the state of criminal elements and restore peace to affected communities.

The Nigerian military has been intensifying operations against banditry and terrorism in the North West region. The elimination of these two terrorists is seen as a significant blow to the Lakurawa group, which has been causing fear among residents in parts of Kebbi State. Local people have welcomed the success of the operation and expressed hope for more actions to secure their areas.

The recovered arms will be useful in further investigations to track down other members of the group. Security officials have urged residents to provide timely information that can help in the fight against terrorism. They assured the public that troops will continue to patrol and respond to threats in the region.

This latest success demonstrates the commitment of the armed forces to protecting lives and property. Many residents in Kebbi State are now calling for sustained military presence to prevent the terrorists from regrouping. The operation has brought some relief to communities that have suffered attacks in recent times.

The military has warned criminals to surrender or face the full wrath of the law. As operations continue, there are expectations of more positive results in the coming weeks. Peace-loving citizens hope that these efforts will lead to lasting stability in Kebbi State and other troubled areas in the North.
