This decision was made after a careful selection process by party leaders and members. The announcement has generated excitement within the party as it prepares for the next major political battle in the state.

Ladi Adebutu, a well-known politician and businessman, emerged as the preferred choice for the PDP ticket. Party officials believe he has the experience and popularity needed to win the election. His selection is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the party’s chances of regaining power in Ogun State after previous setbacks.

Adebutu has promised to focus on good governance, job creation, and infrastructure development if elected.
He thanked party members for the confidence placed in him and pledged to work hard to deliver good leadership to the people of Ogun State.

His emergence has already started attracting support from different groups within the state.

This development marks the beginning of serious political activities ahead of the 2027 elections. Political observers are watching closely to see how other parties will respond to this move.

As the countdown to 2027 begins, Ogun State is set to witness more political drama. With Adebutu as the PDP flag bearer, the stage is now prepared for what promises to be an interesting contest. Many residents are hopeful that the coming elections will bring positive changes to the state.
