An Instagram account identified as ICE Supporters has defended stricter immigration policies in a post praising American founding values and questioning the role of immigrants in national development.

The post argued that America’s success comes from “liberty, individual responsibility, and the rule of law,” rather than immigration alone. It stated that generations of people who assimilated into American culture and upheld those values helped shape the country’s prosperity.

The account also claimed that allowing large numbers of immigrants into the United States without stronger controls could import the “mindsets and habits from failing societies,” warning that such trends may threaten America’s stability and identity.

“We must prioritise legal immigration that strengthens our republic, secures our borders, and ensures newcomers commit fully to the American way,” the post read.

The statement further questioned why immigrants credited with contributing to America’s growth had allegedly failed to improve conditions in their countries of origin, many of which it described as affected by poverty, corruption and instability.

The post concluded by saying that preserving what makes the United States exceptional requires “wisdom, not open-ended experiments that ignore history.”

The remarks have since generated reactions online amid continuing debates in the United States over immigration, border security, and national identity.
