Operatives of the Lagos Environmental Sanitation Corps, popularly known as KAI, have rescued a baby from a junkyard in the Alakija area along the Lagos–Badagry Expressway.

The rescue took place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, during an ongoing multi-agency environmental cleanup operation along the Lagos–Badagry Expressway corridor.

The child was discovered by the operatives while they were carrying out the cleanup exercise at the junkyard.
