Umahi Celebrates Dangote at 69, Praises Industrial Impact
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has congratulated Africa’s leading industrialist, Aliko Dangote, on his 69th birthday, commending his role in Nigeria’s economic and industrial development.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Umahi praised Dangote, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Dangote Group, for his business achievements and philanthropic contributions.
The minister highlighted Dangote’s influence in advancing industrial growth in Nigeria, describing his impact as a source of national pride.
Umahi also acknowledged the businessman’s support for the government’s infrastructure drive, particularly in the use of concrete technology for road construction, which he said is improving the durability and quality of highways across the country.
He further wished Dangote good health and continued success in his future endeavours.
Dangote, widely regarded as one of Africa’s most prominent entrepreneurs, has played a significant role in sectors including cement, sugar, and oil refining.
