NAF Air Strikes Destroy Terrorist Logistics Hub in Borno State

In a significant blow to insurgent operations, the Air Component of Operation HADIN KAI successfully executed a precision air strike on a major terrorist logistics hub and enclave located in Jilli, Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State. The operation, conducted over the weekend, is part of a sustained aerial offensive aimed at dismantling the remaining structures of extremist groups in the Northeast.

Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions previously identified the location as a critical gathering point where terrorists stored supplies and coordinated attacks against nearby communities.

The air strikes were launched after days of monitoring confirmed a high level of activity within the enclave, ensuring the mission targeted active combatants and their essential resources.

Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) following the strike revealed the complete destruction of several structures used as storage facilities for fuel, ammunition, and food supplies. Multiple terrorists were reported neutralized during the engagement, significantly depleting the group’s operational manpower and its ability to sustain long-term guerrilla activities in the Gubio axis.

Military sources stated that the destruction of the Jilli hub has effectively severed a primary supply line for insurgents operating along the borders of the Lake Chad region. By neutralizing this logistics base, the Nigerian Air Force has restricted the mobility of the terrorists, making it increasingly difficult for them to launch large-scale offensives against civilian or military targets.

The leadership of Operation HADIN KAI has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining air superiority and continuing its aggressive stance against all forms of terrorism. Citizens in the region are encouraged to remain vigilant and continue providing timely information to security agencies as the military intensifies its efforts to restore total peace and stability to Borno State.
