Abia Lawmaker Alerts Assembly Over Discovery of Six Mutilated Corpses in Community Farm

Hon. Lewis Obianyi of the Abia State House of Assembly has raised the alarm over a gruesome discovery in Ukwa East.

He reported that several lifeless bodies were found dumped within a local community farm.

The victims were six young girls whose remains were discovered on March 23, 2026. Found in the Akrika Ukwu community, the discovery has sent waves of shock and terror through the local population.

The lawmaker noted that the bodies were found mutilated, suggesting a horrific crime. This has led to strong suspicions that the killings were the work of ritualists operating in the area.

Fear has now paralyzed the Akrika Ukwu community, halting farming and social activities. Residents are terrified to enter their fields, dreading further attacks by the unknown perpetrators.

Seeking urgent help, Obianyi stated, “The member representing Ukwa East Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Lewis Obianyi, has alerted the Assembly about the discovery of lifeless bodies of six young girls inside a community farm.”

The Assembly responded by urging the state government to take immediate action. They have ordered security agencies to investigate the matter and ensure the killers are swiftly brought to justice.
