God Forbid Peter Obi Becomes President of Nigeria, Prays Fani Kayode

Femi Fani Kayode, Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to Germany, has made a strong statement against Peter Obi becoming the next president of the country. He said, “God forbid” Peter Obi should ever lead Nigeria.

Fani Kayode expressed this view openly while speaking about the political future of the nation. His comment has sparked a lot of reactions from different groups across the country.

The former minister and outspoken politician did not hide his feelings. He believes Obi is not the right person to govern Nigeria at this time. Fani Kayode has been very vocal in the past and is known for his direct way of speaking on national issues. Many people see his latest remark as part of the growing debate ahead of future elections.

Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, still commands strong support from many young Nigerians and some political groups. His supporters often praise his simple lifestyle, anti-corruption stance, and focus on good governance. Fani Kayode’s comment is likely to annoy Obi’s fans and spark fresh arguments between political camps.

Fani Kayode’s statement comes at a time when discussions about the 2027 presidential election are slowly heating up. Different leaders and parties are beginning to position themselves and test public opinion. His strong words show that the battle for the next election may become very intense and full of sharp comments.

Many Nigerians have taken to social media to respond to the remark. Some agree with Fani Kayode and say Obi lacks what it takes to unite the country. Others have criticised the ambassador designate, calling his words disrespectful and unhelpful. The exchange has once again shown how divided opinions are about Obi’s political future.

This latest development adds to the already lively political conversation in Nigeria. As more leaders speak out, the public will continue to watch closely to see how the different sides present their ideas. For now, Fani Kayode has made his position very clear: he does not want Peter Obi to become president.
