Fubara Urges APC Leaders in South South to Unite Ahead of 2027
Siminalayi Fubara has called on leaders of the All Progressives Congress in the South South region to remain united in order to strengthen the party’s chances in future elections.
Fubara made the appeal while addressing delegates at the party’s South South Zonal Congress held in Asaba, stressing that unity and cooperation are essential for electoral success in 2027.
He urged party members to work together and remain committed, expressing confidence in the newly elected zonal leadership to deliver on their responsibilities.
The congress, attended by key stakeholders, featured the emergence of zonal leaders through a consensus arrangement, followed by their inauguration.
Among prominent figures at the event were Godswill Akpabio and several governors from the region, including Douye Diri, Umo Eno, Bassey Otu and Sheriff Oborevwori.
Fubara also commended the Delta State Government for hosting the congress, noting that the region holds significant potential for the party’s growth.
