Wike Says There is Only One PDP

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has made a strong statement about the Peoples Democratic Party, dismissing talks of different camps or groups inside the PDP.

According to him, the party is united and there is only one PDP. This comment comes at a time when many people have been talking about divisions in the party.

Wike made it clear that he does not believe in the idea of separate factions. He wants everyone to see the PDP as one single party working together. His words aim to end rumours and bring party members closer. Many see this as an effort to strengthen the PDP from within.

The statement is important because the PDP has faced challenges and internal issues in recent times. Leaders and members have sometimes disagreed on several matters. Wike’s position sends a message that such problems should be put aside for the good of the party.

As a key figure in Nigerian politics, Wike’s view carries weight. He has been active in both state and national matters. His call for unity could help calm tensions and encourage more cooperation among PDP members across the country.

In the end, this development shows ongoing efforts to keep the party strong and focused. Whether all members will agree with Wike remains to be seen. For now, his message is simple: there is only one PDP, and it should stay that way.
