Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented 100 official vehicles to Level 17 officers across the Lagos State Public Service as part of efforts to enhance governance and improve service delivery.
The beneficiaries, who are Directors in various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), play a critical role in driving policy implementation and ensuring effective administration across the state.
Speaking during the presentation, the governor said the initiative is aimed at equipping top civil servants with the necessary tools to perform their duties more efficiently and deliver better results.
He noted that supporting senior officers is a practical step toward improving productivity, strengthening institutional capacity, and ensuring that government programmes are executed effectively.
Sanwo-Olu emphasized that a motivated public service remains central to good governance, adding that properly equipped officials are more likely to take ownership of their responsibilities, remain focused, and demonstrate greater commitment in the discharge of their duties.
The governor further stated that the distribution of the vehicles forms part of his administration’s broader strategy to raise performance standards and improve operational efficiency across the Lagos State public service.
