The staff of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) have expressed relief and gratitude to the Federal Government following the council’s reinstatement on the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS), ending more than two years of financial uncertainty and administrative setbacks.

According to TRCN officials, the absence from IPPIS had disrupted regular salary payments and affected staff welfare, creating challenges in the council’s daily operations.

Staff members welcomed the move, describing it as a major boost to morale and institutional stability.

In a statement, the council’s personnel thanked the Federal Government for addressing the long-standing issue and emphasized that the return to IPPIS will ensure transparent, timely, and accountable salary disbursement.

The TRCN noted that the reinstatement aligns with broader government efforts to streamline payroll management for federal agencies, reduce financial leakages, and strengthen institutional governance.

Officials also called for continued support to maintain operational improvements, allowing the council to fully execute its mandate of regulating and professionalizing the teaching profession in Nigeria.

Staff members said they are optimistic that the decision will foster a conducive working environment and encourage efficiency in service delivery, signaling a positive step toward stability for the council and its workforce.
