Temitope Adeshina Named Women’s Field Athlete of the Year by U.S. Track & Field Association

Nigerian high jumper and national record holder, Temitope Adeshina, has been honoured as the Women’s Field Athlete of the Year for the Mountain Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The recognition comes after Adeshina completed a historic and undefeated indoor season, cementing her status as one of the top collegiate high jumpers in the United States. Her remarkable performances this season included setting a national record for Nigeria, highlighting her growing reputation on the international athletics stage.
The USTFCCCA award celebrates outstanding achievement among collegiate athletes in the Mountain Region, and Adeshina’s consistent excellence and record-breaking feats distinguished her from her peers.
