IDF Shares Update on Operation Roaring Lion After Two Weeks

The Israeli Defense Forces have given a report on their ongoing mission called Operation Roaring Lion. This operation has been going on for two weeks and focuses on targets in Iran and Lebanon.

The goal is to hit key spots linked to threats from these areas. The update shows a lot of action taken to weaken enemy groups and protect Israel’s safety.

In Iran, the IDF carried out about 7,600 strikes in total. This includes over 2,000 hits on headquarters and other important places run by the Iranian government. They also did around 4,700 strikes aimed at Iran’s missile setup to stop future attacks. Many people seen as terror fighters were taken out during these efforts.

The air force played a big part in the Iran side of things. They flew more than 4,700 missions, with over 380 of them happening right over Iranian land. This shows how far the operation reached and the risks involved for the pilots and teams. The strikes were meant to break down the ability of groups there to cause harm.

Over in Lebanon, the focus was on Hezbollah and their forces. The IDF did more than 1,100 strikes, hitting about 190 targets from the Radwan Force, which is a special unit. They also targeted over 200 missiles and launchers, plus around 35 places where leaders make plans and give orders.

In these Lebanon attacks, over 380 Hezbollah members were removed from action. This is part of a bigger plan to reduce the group’s power near Israel’s border. The operation aims to make the area safer by taking out weapons and key people who plan attacks.

Overall, Operation Roaring Lion is showing strong results in both places. It highlights Israel’s efforts to fight back against threats from Iran and its allies like Hezbollah. As things continue, many hope it leads to more peace in the region, but the fight is still on.
